YOU prepare your items and set YOUR own prices. Each consignor receives a base of 60% of their sold items. (For helping a shift you can retain more commission, up to 75% ….see below.)
- There will be a consignor fee required at registration, via paypal. ($20) This fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. If something happens where we are forced to change or cancel the event: (covid related, or other and we need to have attendance or consignor caps, or something else- those who choose not to consign will be given their consignor fee refunded (minus a $2 processing fee as Lucky Duck Bucks that they can use to shop at our next sale Spring 2025)
- If the sale is cancelled all together (no in-person and no online option for FALL 2024, your consignor fee will be returned to you, minus a $2 processing fee.)
- Each consignor will receive one passes to the pre-sale on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at 4pm.
- Consignors will be allowed in a half hour early (at 8:30am) on Sunday October 6, 2024 for first dibs on half price items!
- Please plan to pick up your unsold items on Sunday, October 6, 2024 between 3:00pm-5:00pm. Consignors have the opportunity to donate unsold items to our charity partner: The Fort Wayne Rescue Mission. You will receive a tax form for your donation. If you choose not to donate, ALL unsold items MUST be picked up. Any left over items will be donated. No exceptions.
- Consigning may not be for everyone. If at any time, you don't feel consiging is right for you, you have the right not to consign (However once the Consignor fee has been paid - it is non-refundable). In the same way, if Lucky Duck, LLC feels like a consignor is not a good fit for Lucky Duck, we have the right to prohibit you from consigning--for any reason- (In this case Consignor fee will be reimbursed).
You can retain more $ on your items!
Sign up to help out a shift at Lucky Duck and you will retain an additional 5% on your consigned items (these are called Lucky Duck Crew Members). You may help up to three shifts and retain 5% for each shift you work (maximum consignment percentage is 75%). Only shifts by you or your spouse count as additional profit credit. If you have a child, 16 or older, you may ask permission to have them work a shift for credit (but this is not always granted). Please note- If things change as far as attendance caps due to Covid-19 for our Fall 2024 sale, we will not be allowing any Crew Member shifts for the sale and 60% commission will be earned for everyone. We don't anticipate this happening.
